Hello Besom family
The Lord is good and His steadfast love towards us is without end.
We can't earn it, we don't deserve it, yet He still loves us just as we are. And out of His great love for us, outpours His grace- more than enough for us to go where He sends. We love Him and those He sends our way, because he first loved us.
'How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand- when I awake, I am still with you.' Psalm 139:17-18 (NIV)
Do you feel His love for you even when the road gets tough and narrow?
He is right there with you, always!
The power of giving and receiving
Karen Kendall, Coordinator of The Besom in Camberley shared with us a very touching story that made us realise that sometimes it's not easy to accept every donation we're given.
But even more so if you don't know whether you have a recipient who needs them. It takes faith to accept and receive items believing that God will provide the right recipient.
But did you know that giving can be just as hard? Sometimes we don't know if the items we put together to give away will be exactly what the recipient needs, especially if it's a food parcel.
Can God guide you to pack the exact items that somebody needs even before you meet them?
Listen to Karen's story to find out.

Besom Sheffield reminds us what it means to love
We had a wonderful time of fellowship and great encouragement with Steve and Joy Winks (Besom in Sheffield Coordinators), during their 'Explore Besom' event last month, hosted beautifully by 'The Message Trust' hub.
The Friday evening and Saturday morning sessions were organised as part of Sheffield's desire to share Besom's vision with the community and expand their giving base / attract younger generations to plant more Besoms in the North.
Highlights of the event:
-
A great soaking in the spirit and refreshing time with our Lord Jesus during worship
-
Testimony and background of how the Besom in Sheffield started
-
Hearing God-Stories and testimonies from time-givers
-
Reasons why we should keep loving, praying, giving, and going to those God sends us to
-
Opportunities to get involved in the Besom in Sheffield and how to set up a Besom
-
Sharing about the Besom Network
-
Fellowship together, pure love and joy of fellowship as one family in Christ.
The biggest surprise was meeting the oldest serving Besom-er Brain Zealand, an inspiring 91-year-old who is still active, and all sold out for Jesus! Listening to His inspiring story, and journey with Besom, his love for Jesus and the poor, brought a tear to my eye.
Brain's story will be featured in our next bulletin, and on all our social media platforms and website.
Please keep an eye out for this on our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube.
It was so wonderful meeting everyone in person and learning from them, such a great encouragement to us all at the network.
